Please note horse riding is 1 1/2 – 2 hours. Whale watching is 3 hours.

Why not get a taste of some of the best Iceland has to offer in one day? Enjoy excellent riding routes and breathtaking scenery while riding the sturdy Icelandic horse. Finish off with a cruise out on Faxaflói Bay watching whales and dolphins play. Cafeteria on board the boat where refreshments can be purchased. This tour ends at Reykjavík Harbour after the whale safari.

What’s included?

AGE LIMIT TO RIDE ON THIS TOUR IS 8 YEARS OLD.
THE WEIGHT LIMIT FOR ALL OUR TOURS IS 110 KG/240 LBS
IF YOU ARRIVE BY OWN CAR, PLEASE BE AT THE ÍSHESTAR STABLES 30 MINUTES BEFORE DEPARTURE.

Horse riding as per itinerary, riding helmets, rubber boots, and rainwear or a warm outfit during the ride. English and Scandinavian speaking guidance. Sight-seeing or other activities as per itinerary.

Please note

Please note that you cannot take any backpacks or bags with you on the ride but there are safety boxes at the stables where you can store your valuables. Riding gear (riding boots, riding trousers, jackets, hats, gloves, etc.) needs to be washed (40°C), dry cleaned or disinfected before arriving in Iceland. Used leather gear may not be brought into the country.
